Leather & Lace, named after the Stevie Nicks and Don Henley song, began their musical career as a 5-piece cover band in 2013, performing all over South Florida. In 2019, Leather & Lace released their debut album, Freedom Lines, with a sort of indie rock pop feel, and the song The City became the South Florida winner of the 2019 Jack Daniels Battle of the Bar Bands. In 2022, Leather & Lace released their second album, Butterfly-Winged Spider, which features a mixture of indie rock and hard rock sounds.
